I do not particularly want to bum anyone I remember a case not so long back where 2 guys bummed a kid in a shopping centre toilet, I assume weighlifters use the toilet while warming up? (or on the platform in some cases) In my opinion its better to be over zealous and keep all safe  | ||

With a tiny corner portioned of by means of folded up table tennis equipment, upturned tables and very eager bwla staff .. In there we have 4 really s**t warm up platforms and a mixture of s**t and good equipment but more importantly all the lifters .. This is the part they were concerned about .. The bit where only adults with passes go, with no visible hideaways for anyone to "Nonse" The changing room and toilet area ! Where children do go .. Remained unmanned . You could enter the toilets without a pass . I'm not against CRB checks or any of the checks that was done . It was just merely an example of how here in our wonderful country we seem to just make things more difficult . If I have to explain my credentials as a coach to a bwla staff then we have got it wrong .. If a stranger I've never seen turns up at a schoolboy comp and his lifter smashes British records ! Then that's good enough for me ! Certificates are a bulls**t I have little support for in my particular sport ! Unit - Yes !! They should ! | ||
