Then She ate fish and asparagus at 930. Its now 1045 she's going to bed and having a casien protein shake. Its only been 1hour 15mins since she last ate. I said why not set an alarm and have it at 0030. Is my idea good or is she right?? | ||

Member 5141, 4220 posts SQ 300, BP 180, DL 350830.0 kgs @ 130kgs UnEq | I'm a big fan of a mid-sleep feed, HOWEVER, using an alarm to do it is counter productive, the damage to your sleep cycle causes more harm than the benefit of the extra kcals. The 'best' (read as - my way) is to have a decent sized drink before bed, and then drink the shake when you wake up for the toilet during the night. Most folk wake up for the toilet anyway, so no additional harm is done to your sleep cycle, and it takes about 30 seconds to down a shake, so doesn't require you being awake a great deal longer. Indeed, as a woman it may be your other half can drink her shake whilst using the toilet, a skill I've never mastered. | ||

I have come up with a method for the busy on the go gentleman like myself by which the person hangs their Johnson over the edge leaving both hands free to do anything else for example drink water. the in and out at the same time cycle - balance | ||
