Interesting Member 6186, 245 posts | The only solution I can see at the end of all of this is a Allied Community or International Law against China for spreading a serious pathogen and causing death and global economics to collapse due to negligence. If this was from a Lab then the consequences for China should be made clear in a international court a little like the Nuremberg trails for the Nazis after World War two, whether from a wet market or a lab, if they are liable then they should have criminal proceedings, this cannot happen again, the impact to society across the world is devastating. This has a long way to go yet and the death rate and economic collapse is far from over. The USA will not stand by and let China walk a way with no consequences this is the biggest impact to the World since World War Two. In our history this is the biggest pandemic since 1918 but that one was masked by World War 1 and seen as the forgotten pandemic.COVID 19 is not masked by anything. This COVID 19 is hitting the money markets and the USA economy hard, so the USA will react. Whether from a lab or a wet market there is negligence and it needs to be proved in a court of international law not by war I hope. | ||

Obviously he'll try, and he might convince his voters, but he will not convince anybody rational. This is on the governments that didn't react. | ||

I have found that my panic eating has long gone now, was maybe weeks 1-2. this week I have cut calories instinctively. feeling great actually. looking forward to at least 3 more weeks at home. I think its time to start walking out the house though. might walk the family over the back tomorrow and bother some squirels and deer. | ||

I expect it stands at about 10k so far but who knows? I would also say that UK and USA are bulls**tting us...what they are doing is looking to see what happens in - Italy, Spain, Sweden and Denmark for example and will model what we do next with how they get on. After all this situation is novel. I expect USA and UK are running out of patience. The economic crash is being balanced against casualties. I would guess construction will return first followed by shop outlets which do not include beauty vlose contact inc hair dressers.. that would be logical being we are 18months off a vaccine (although I expect they hope heard immunity will come first) but who the hell knows? I do know that I will be thousands out of pocket by end of summer...
