That first stone is not exactly heavy, you can just pop it from your lap exactly as lalas did. That is what I do and is my lap really that much higher than his? I don't lift the stone onto the platform you have to fire it on | ||

You have a point in that events suits other better than other if you know what I mean How high would you have the p,at forms Terry? And if you reduced them how heavy would you make the stones? | ||

9x WSM finalist! Member 662, 3372 posts | I think so much of it comes down to the approach in training. How many guys train onto high platforms? Not many which is part of why people struggle, it's a shock if you're not used to them. I built a 6ft 2 platform just to get used to it | ||
