Hip thrusts becoming a tiny bit more "enjoyable" but still pretty painful stuff. Bench felt good. | ||

Meals have been clean today and I intend to keep them this way as long as I can and the results should be seen. Enjoyed today's session and I decided to increase the reps (is that my new cardio?) in order to get more work done. We will see were it brings me. | ||

Member 5603, 385 posts SQ 210, BP 112.5, DL 245567.5 kgs @ 103.5kgs UnEq | Training with Bim Bench session only Warm up for bench x10 with bar x5 at 30kg Actual work x5 at 40kg x1 at 70kg x3 at 80kg x3 at 80kg x3 at 80kg x3 at 80kg x3 at 80kg --> the very last rep was a looooooooong grind, it nfelt like nothing was moving Dumbell press x10 at 12kg --> lots of wobble and fight to stabalise weight x10 at 14kg x10 at 18kg x10 at 20kg --> way more stable Seated row x10 at 45kg x10 at 50kg x10 at 60kg x10 at 70kg Lat pull down - wide grip x10 at 45kg x10 at 70kg --> real struggle x10 at 60kg --> more manageable fight Lat pull down - narrow grip x10 at 50kg x10 at 60kg x10 at 70kg Dips x5 x5 x5 General feeling: Well this was a really enjoyable session and looking at the weights on dumbell press + lat pull down it was more a matter of focusing on how it should feel rather than pilling on the heavy stuff. The bench itself felt good and the fight on the very last rep felt like it was going on for ages. I like the high number of sets. | ||

Dumbell press x10 at 20kg x10 at 22kg x10 at 24kg --> felt more stable even if harder to go through the sets but hey that is the way forward innit? leg curls (ankle = 2 / leg = 11) x5 at 55kg x5 at 60kg x5 at 75kg x5 at 75kg x5 at 75kg x5 at 80kg leg extensions (ankle = 6 / leg = 11 / seat = 3) x5 at 75kg x5 at 75kg x5 at 75kg General feeling: Great time at the gym tonight especially happy re the dumbell presses | ||

Very poor session in terms of what I did but I thought "What would you rather do: carry on in pain, kill your back for some stupid ego reasons OR stop now and come back later when the temple your body is is well rested and performing as it should?" Choice made! | ||

The whole bench affair was weird: I warmed up on a thin, spinny bar as the thick and solid ones were taken at the time. I then pounced on a thick one and did the work with it. Did that throw me off? | ||

General feeling: Good session - all reps were fast and that felt superb! The 170kg were slow but got them all - video to follow. | ||
