In for a watch on this one pal. Already said, but you should follow your body. If your program says so many reps at X weight and it's far too easy, you've got to consider changing the weights slightly too suit Happy

Good advice mate I think I've got it going quite well
Trying to keep my eagerness in check
After Sundays session and then Monday I felt drained
Also I work shifts so did not train until Friday
This worked well for me. Also being 50 yrs old
I think I need a few days to recover

average session no deads been out walking up mam tor today also legs heavy from squating on sunday

bench press

close grip bench

also getting quite a bit of pain in left shoulder not hurting when pressing but after set pain in shoulder and into elbow??

You would normally follow a hard squat session with deadlifts 2 days later? Good luck with that! Takes me a minimum of 3 days and I usually leave 4.

170 is going to be my opener in the comp in 2 weeks. all in all a good session everything felt slow today for some reason managed the weight ok.
well pleased with pulling 200 but again lack of concentration and i dropped it. driving me madConfused
