All weights moving well tonight I'm on my 10 days off from work so well rested
Squats all good depth really good felt strong coming out of the hole moved weight up by 2.5kg from last cycle maybe should have moved up 5kg on the other hand would rather stay a bit lighter and keep my form tight.
Deadlift again strong form good no real problems with the weight

Deadlift felt really good tried to get some speed going as I was down at 70%
Bench not so good my shoulder has been hurting since squating on Wednesday when I did the close grip the pain got so bad on the 105 so stopped thereUnhappy

Some very good sessions recently Andy. Sorry to hear about the shoulder problems. I tend to have shoulder probs on bench after I have squatted for a lot of volume. For me I think I grip the bar too tight. I don't think thereis much you can do except make sure you stretch your shoulders as much as possible before you squat.

The pain is like tooth ache in my right shoulder front and back around shoulder blade done some rehab/mobility work with my lacrosse ball today. Safety bar squats tomorrow give shoulder a rest. Yes I do quite a bit of warm up of shoulders before squats band dislocations pull aparts and face pulls also I stretch across the bar and rack sort of in a crucifix position if you have any others I would appreciate it Bill

Good vib in gym tonight everybody working well encouraging each other. Took things a bit slow tonight warmed up well after shoulder issues late last week. Took two ibuprofen tabs which I don't normally do.

All in all a decent session as I got more into the session my shoulder eased off which I found strange . 100x6 with last rep paused don't think I've done that before also 140 with ram to chest is a pb the 145 was a bridge to far 6" off chest stopped dead. Will try 142.5 next timeGrin

Thanks guys I believe the ram mimics the panel of a bench shirt a bit. I think there pretty similar in use mate but decided on a ram as my training partners use them. The main reason I use it for is the over load and to feel heavier weights. The only problem I have with it is that it rides up as I'm reping one two ok then it slips up to my neck and I loose the help of the ram which has good and bad points as I loose the ram it's all me have to battle to lock em out loll lol

I wasn't looking forward to this .Again took a couple of ibuprofen did a lot of warm ups on my shoulders, post workout all seems ok reverted back to three fingers on bar weird but it works. Last couple of sets really tough but made it through. The deads ok but after squats I didn't have much left in tank all in all pleased with how it went.
