I think if you train something like the 6 week program with its high percentages you have to avoid doing extra stuff, and I think that is why you are feeling the effects. Take a few days off and see how you feel

To the fitness village myself and Sheridan wray 2.15pm. Big squat day.

Warm up then
140x2
150x1
160x1
170x2 second rep way to high
170x2
170x2

Deadlift

145x4
150x4
155x4

I was supposed to only do one set at 170 but made a complete mess of it. Haven't been this heavy for a while. The weight played on my mind a bit wasn't as aggressive as normal. Got a bollocking off shezz your f#}*ing doing that again that was s**t . "I've never seen you squat that high ever" was shezz's comment.
Regrouped got my game face on here we go. All good depth good strong reps decided to go again pleased I did again good work plenty strong enough just the weight I think there's a lot of psycology to this game at times.
All in all pleased how it went. I am going to repeat the 5 week cycle again cannot wait for week two lol lol

Nice squatting Andy. Three doubles@90% plus is never bad. Sometimes you just need to practice in that range to get used to it, even if the occasional rep is a bit high.

First time under my safety squat bar

100x5
100x5
100x5
100x8

Deadlift
160x2
180x2
200x2

Interesting session with the bar was more like a front squat with the plates more foreward. It was a lot harder to stay tight also got me in the quads more
Thought I'd start light and work up to more weight
No belt knee sleeves or squat shoes worn used my reebok deadlift shoes
