Ynepf senior powerlifting comp on the 5th April in Doncaster
I've entered as a guest lifter mate should be fun gain some comp experience. Things have improved fast only been about six weeks since I joined the all rounders club in Donny. Got some great guys who I'm training with

Felt really good weight moving fast good strong reps
Excellent confidence booster moving into final week

Well here we go again will try and post more regularly

Week 1 - Muscular Conditioning (W/ Moderate Difficulty)

To the gym training with Sheridan wray tonight 7pm mood feeling strong and focused with job at hand

Squats & deadlift
Warm up and then

Squats

140kg x 6
140kg x 6
140kg x 6
140kg x 6

Deadlift

Warm up and then

170kg x 6 pb
170kg x 6 pb

Leg extensions 3x10

Ab crunches 3x10

Good session quite a few more reps than I'm used to but came through ok well pleased with the deadlift I've never done that many reps
I was blowing a bit the last two reps of the second set were grinders but I muscled them up
As for Sheridan a steady session as he is just recovering from a virus with only two weeks to go before the British at horncastleCool

Squatting in week 1 on the Candito programme is hard, week 2 is really really hard, but is gets easier (less volume) from week 3.

This was the program as laid down didn't feel I'd really worked my chest hard enough neither did shezz so added some more work

107.5x2

87.5x7 rep out

All in all a good session having a few form issues seem to have lost the snap I had off my chest a bit laboured
Did a few rows decided to call it a day at this point
Bench press does my head in
Shezz worked well with ram and block pressed a pb 205kg for a single from 2 block the man is a beast
Also 180kg off chest for 3 triples with ram

To the doncaster Dome myself and Sheridan wray 2.15pm
Feeling a little fatigued up for work at 4am and a double shift yesterday 16hrs
Shezz still not recovered from the virus he's had but still worked well

Scott Bradwell arrived at this point to some sumo deads thought I'd have a go
Scott gave me some coaching as I'd never attempted sumo

My first pb at sumo well pleased felt a bit weird surprised how easy I got it off the floor think I may do a few more routines sumo another good session on the 6 week candito program
