Marked improvement on some stuff, decent on the rest. Great bunch of lads to compete with, tough events, and weather held up! good stuff. writeup in journal later!

Finished 8th which I'm happy with, great banter going against Ste in 3 head to heads. Pulled 230 for a 15kg pb so by no means a waste of time. Hope my thumb is Ok cos I wonna get back to the gym ASAP and get ready for next years shenanigans!

Pagan and Boar are consistent high scorers and that showed in their final results, also, they are a pair of really nice guys and they always seem to make time to talk to you. Good to put names to faces for me today, must say Cuddles you look a lot different from what I was expecting... cycling demon! A big highlight for me was seeing Erics 300kg deadlift, superb stuff. A note on Smalls; The guy is a worker! Slowly but surely creeping up on everything and the guy had a great performance, well done mate. Vausie; lightweight superstar, really good today mate, 230kg deadlift, bosh! Kenny; Good to see the OG Dragon, looked fit, as always . Jr; Amazing performance... it was great when he said to me and KeV "Gutted I missed that 240kg pull" and me and KeV looked at each other before KeV came out with something along the lines of "I feel f**king gutted for you too, 16 years old and missing 240kg, I was nailing 240kg when I was 16....". Great potential. General; Solid performance, mr consistant and a fantastic yoke result. Ste; Great to meet you mate, really nice guy and an awesome strongman. If Mark puts on u80kg comps next year... please don't do them . Hope you don't feel too wrecked after today. Macca; Good work today mate, I was telling my dad about how much you could squat and he was amazed.... I think he fancies you now, sorry mate. Hixxy; I met Hixxy today, f**k me he's big. Pulled 350kg this morning too. And to everyone else that competed that I don't really know a big WELL DONE, awesome comp, you all did yourselves proud.

Member 2437, 305 posts SQ 180, BP 90, DL 220 490.0 kgs @ 92kgs UnEq	From my training log: Took a couple of attempts to get to 90kg but got there with a little help from Pagan's sauna suit My first strongman comp so my aims were to not come last and not make a dick of myself. Just about managed both. Deadlift 190/ 210/ 220 equal pb Yoke 200kg. About 23 seconds. Think i was second quickest of the light group. Reckon I could have got 10m with the 270. Loading medley 4 items in about 48 seconds. Couldn't get the atlas stone off the floor. Had to zercher the duckwalk, which i think cost a bit of time. Overhead medley 5 reps. Was just out of time with rep 6. None of them felt heavy but I went walkabout the the log and the dumbbell. Was pretty wrecked by the end. Farmers 90kg/ hand. About 22 seconds. Just like the yoke, could have done the heavy one. A lesson for next time. Stones A big fat zero reps. Think I lapped the 110 about 5 times but just couldn't load the damn thing. If anything I had too much tacky and the stone got stuck to my T shirt but no excuses. Nil for Pete Think I came 23rd out of 29 and had alot of fun. i'll def compete again.

Chuffed that my old man and Boarski did so well! Yeah I'm disappointed about missing 240 but there is plenty of time for that Most pleased about my stone run, 9th in such a good field! Next year I want the 160! Came 17th! Crazy high standard! Awesome comp, dragons 4?

Member 297, 2523 posts SQ 210, BP 155, DL 272.5 637.5 kgs @ 80kgs UnEq	form the MV journal: DRAGONS 3 7th place - operation take it 4-0 against smallsy lol DEADLIFT 200-220-240KG ALL FELT OK WAS TEMPTED TO GO 250KG but was happy ! YOKE 270kg This was the most feared of the events, as it fooked me up at the ANTS, but rolled a tshirt up and placed inbetween my belt and back and it worked a treat ! went quite fast and maybe got 5-6-or 7th place ! LOADING MEDLEY Nightmare, lack of training showed on this, got 4 objects but trapped my foot under the platform loading the 2nd object lol , and messed the barrell up ! Happy to load 4 objects though ! OH MEDLEY v-happy to get 8 lifts and had some good banter with JC (ref)! FARMERS always been one of my strongest events, felt comfortable and nailed a 2nd place WTF ! yeah dude STONES loaded 4 stones quite fast and up against OLLY J for the 3rd time of the day! Had some great banter with olly all day ! Had a little childish chuckle at him loading the fourth stone ! It was in innocent poke of fun dude Summary Mr Clegg makes another fine comp, the Dragons trade brand rules ! Firstly a massive thanks to the REF's JC and Karl Grant Scorers - John, Joni and Millsy Top Mc - Ben the flash France All loaders GazB-Hubble and the OSG TEAM Highlights Erics 300kg Smallsys Double PB Deadlift Boars OH medleys Pagans Stones Macca and Dannys allround performance Shane - Top guy, solid allrounder and true CHAMPION ! Little special mention to my Bro King Kenny, missed you competing but you helped my massively today in every event ! going to miss you when go away my man !
