Maxed out sugden pb chart with 510 18 inch pull Member 1528, 131 posts | well done to all who competed today, a lot of strong guy and the standard was very high all round. there was a time when a 300 deadlift was outstanding now it seem everyone's doing it or knock on the door of it. as for me, i had my crap grip exposed again in the farmers, so work required for next year. well done too, to Craig and all the team for putting on a good comp, venue came good and the events ran very smoothly. Member 3600, 132 posts | finaly home after that long treck.... quite a high consumption of pain killers on way back... think it improved my driving tbh..... i set out today with a target of top 2, as it happens i wasnt happy with how i performed with the major weight loss in the space of 1.5 weeks being the problem i think! but i got what i went for and enjoyed the fact the it went down to the stones going up against to short arses (karl and john) gave me a good advantage on them high platforms! well done to all lads that competed!!! nice to see a fellow spartan at a national final and can see alot coming from all mcgee wen he stops split jerking everything!!! and ofcourse ben kelsey another year as champion and once again above everyone with his consistancy!! deserved the win... and cheers for the tip mate  is it top two that go to europes now or just first? | ||

 The legendary Discus Ben Member 1550, 476 posts | Thanks guys, was a pleasure to compete with all the 105's again! It was nice to be the heaviest for once! Thanks to Craig, Rob, Adam and everyone else involved, Tesco's car park turned out to be a decent venue! Well done to everyone who competed, especially those in the top spots who have qualified for BSM, UK's and Europe's. Great performance from Dan to take second, very consistent. He told me earlier in the year that he'd been working hard to push me, it's obvious that he has! Karl was impressive all day (well almost) his 350KG deadlift looked effortless, I can only hope that my suit gives me a chance of revenge at BSM! If he could do farmers I'd have been very worried going into the stones! JC's farmers were awesome, he said he'd beat me in my journal, something I questioned at the time, so I owe you an apology! But I still fancy my chances at BSM! I've done a write up for my blog, which I've copied and pasted into my journal on here if anyone's interested. | ||
