Strict press reps of 5s

Attempted some push press with 80 and got one, tris were f**ked.

Trained at a local bodybuilder gym called Titanium. Was ok, nothing special.

2x190kg - was after 5, very disappointed.

Wasnt feeling that confident with them, weren't the best reps tbh but got what I wanted.

3x15 calf raise machine

Quick bench to get rid of some DOMS, 5 min session

Good bench considering it was quick at the end of a session.

Think I need to chuck in a bit of cardio as I was struggling to get the air in to my lungs! Thought I'd attempt a second set of ten but my legs were just jelly, so left it at the 5. Quads are feeling it today! Was a good set.

When I used to play football more seriously and run a fair bit as well as lifting, I was still ruined by high reps. Think its a different sort of fitness required.

11x90kg - random spotter wouldn't get off the bar, even after I asked him 3 times!

All 3 sets would have been rep PBs but I won't be counting them now, don't want to cheat myself out of a proper set, even though I know I had them! Will get em next week.

Don't think I had a quality spot at muscleworks once.

Apparently me shouting "DON'T TOUCH THE BAR!" halfway through a grinding rep doesn't register with them.

The 100 & 95 reps weren't terrible spotters for bro reps. The third guy was laughable, he rowed more than I pressed for the first reps.

Went back to the gym as a couple of mates were training, was just going to go for a sauna/steam whilst they trained but ended up doing some more incline lol. Wanted to push the 50s.

I've got a video somewhere in my journal when 95kg was around about my max. I take this weight for a single and you can clearly hear me yelling "LEAVE IT!" as the spotter gets involved a bit too soon. He still didn't leave it though. Fool.
