I work as a boner Member 3115, 490 posts SQ 240, BP 140, DL 300680.0 kgs @ 132kgs Eq | I personaly think the blame would have to stay with the lifter, after all its there responsability to make sure there clean if there sport states that its drug free. Why blame others for the actions of one member.

Old Age Presser Member 75, 7740 posts SQ 0, BP 200, DL 200400.0 kgs @ 105kgs Eq | Hypothetically, I believe the GBPF would be liable to pay any fine and it would then claim it back off the lifter, plus any costs associated with the claim. But don't take that as gospel, just my understanding of things.

i love food Member 1042, 441 posts SQ 265, BP 212.5, DL 325802.5 kgs @ 129.1kgs UnEq | i reckon if anyone get caught for positive PED test results they should have a life ban. or is this already the rules in the GBPF? it is kinda the point in lifting in a drug tested fed i would of thought. so that you know everyone is clean and on a level playing field.

Member 1589, 1219 posts SQ 300, BP 260, DL 345905.0 kgs @ 108kgs Eq | three million people are viewing this topic. I would assume that the theoretical lifter would only have a direct legal relationship to the gbpf as he would not have directly signed an agreement with the ipf. the ipf fine would be dished out to gbpf and then gbpf would try to get the lifter to reimburse them. whether they could lawfully do this or not is purely down to the membership or competition agreement that was in place between the gbpf and the lifter. if the lifter failed to pay then it's a trip to the small claims court.

Member 1589, 1219 posts SQ 300, BP 260, DL 345905.0 kgs @ 108kgs Eq | from the looks of the gbpf rules the lifter is not liable for any costs of drugs tests, check the competition entry form.

they call him the streak Member 2002, 400 posts SQ 182.5, BP 130, DL 240552.5 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq | Maybe I'm a little naive here, but PL'ing has a multitude of feds to lift in - tested and untested. Why would a drug-enhanced athlete compete in a tested fed?
