what is everyone's fran time? Member 3986, 10449 posts SQ 340, BP 200, DL 400940.0 kgs @ 129kgs Eq | Ed has the strongman record. Benni has the all time deadlift pl record but obviously it's disputed. To me though the only proper records are ipf after that you have varying shades of grey. All this mention of the plates though I thought when Bolton pulled his 1000 pull he had some 50kg plates on the bar which looked like gym plates

Member 3486, 246 posts SQ 230, BP 160, DL 250640.0 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq | A wolverine has been known to chase off a grizzly bear, there is a clip on YouTube. They are the animal equivalent of that little bloke in the pub who would stab you with a pool cue if you looked at him the wrong way

I used to train at the gym they came from. Didn't Benni also equal Eddie in that last strongman deadlift shenanigans though? 463 or similar? Benni's 461 strapless was by no means a lift out of the blue as he was doing 400x5 at that time. As a 21yr old he was also neck and neck with Bolton in the race for the PL record. I believe he also only trained for about 6 months when he did the strongman comp in 2014 and he didn't look to be at his best. Benni/Bolton no.1, big gap, then the rest.

Now if it was a honey badger on the other hand... Google honey badger or do a few youtube searches and checkout the vids and comments btw. It's f****ng hilarious. There's a whole Chuck Norris type thing going on about these furry f***ers.

No, Benni has pulled 461, Ed has since pulled 463. Ahh right fair enough on the plates

still a devious weightlifting bastard Member 43, 14374 posts | That orangutan was 13YO. Way too young to be doing heavy resistance work like that. Does no one care about its long term joint health or fried CNS? I remember watching this documentary one time about a couple of guys who ran a scrap business. They had an orangutan called Clyde that used to rip all the cars apart for them with its hands. Strong fella no doubt.
