From what I know (there may have been a lot of much better research done since) but historically many of the numbers regarding Primate Strength were taken from giving Chimpanzees big dynamometers to play with - often pissing them off in the process - and extrapolating from that. I don't think shooting that Gorilla in the States recently would have been my preferred option but given that at any moment he was literally capable of tearing that child limb-from-limb - pretty much instantly - I can certainly see why they didn't f**k about. | ||

I might be wrong the way I understood it was so far no one has beaten his best.I did hear to that benni was supposed to have lifted more but unofficial like so not sure. | ||

Maybe I've thought about this too much lol. interesting point. lamar gant had a spinal curvature that had him locked out at knee height. if he was benni's size (and capable of humunogous weights) with those outlandish leverages and using that daft bar they used at the arnolds, could imagine being able to lockout without all the plates leaving the floor. | ||
