It seems to be getting a pain in the arse of a pattern now but all most EVERY f**kING FRIDAY I have a s**tty session as I just cant be arsed and feel like I'm just going through the motions etc...

Mondays & Wednesdays are brilliant and I always come away feeling fantastic but it gets to Friday and as soon as I get to the gym; it just seems to drain away from me!

Going to start doing Sat afternoons again as I used to have great sessions over the weekend as well so will see how they go!

Wonder if it'd be worth training Monday, Tuesday & Thursday instead and then Sat afternoons instead of Mon, Wed & Fridays etc...

A gentleman at my gym known as sex offender Chris apparently can't be strong on Sundays, Wednesdays or days when he has had too much protein

Just had one! Most times I don't find it any different but I have had some bad ones, think it all depends on how the weeks been.

Funny you should mention this.

The last two fridays have been excellent, PB ridden sessions however today was utter wank. It was a choice of training or beer. Now the training is done I firmly plan to enjoy my beer this weekend.

Is there a specific lift that you do only on Fridays, or is it always something different? My benching is gay, deads gayer and squats bisexual (somewhere between gay and not)

If you're working Mon-Fri with a set routine, then this may be affecting your training too. If you're working shifts or odd days/hours, then it may be the exercise.

You accumulate fatigue throughout the week.

If your working mon-fri

and training pretty hard mon-fri with the weekend off

Then naturally your going to suck on Friday.

Currently the bulk of my heavy training is done Thurs/Fri and I have the weekend off I work odd hours and sleep well so that's not really an issue.

However every Monday I feel like a frail old biddy and can barely double nearly 80kg less than my PB for 2 in squat.

It's just how your body works you need to recover from all the work your doing. Trick is to be smart with your sessions placement through the week and not to have anymore than 2 truly heavy sessions for upper or lower body (unless your on that which shall not be named).

Mon Chest

Yeah I remember suggesting that but there was always some excuse against it, though Saturday morning curls where popular if you hadn't been out on the Friday. Legs still got overlooked.....

I normally suffer on friday worksouts...... but this week I have taken thursday and friday off and had a brilliant upper body workout about 11:00 however i do feel at a lose end now as am usually in the gym now.

Maybe a horse burger will settle me down

I work from home running my own business but I can work silly hours catching up with paperwork/emails etc...

Usually do a push/pull routine bar legs which I either do on their own or with a bit of bicep stuff afterwards (tonight).

I think I'm just being lazy as Fridays for me can be a slow day with work so I tend to faff about a bit as well... Roll-Eyes
