I'm looking at getting 2 dwarf monitor lizards - Ackies to be precise, been doing lots of research and working out exactly what I will need. Really excited about the prospect of getting them.

I'm trying to convince my missus to let me get a lizard but she's having none of it at the moment lol.

How's the rehab doing, do you know how many sessions you need?

Thanks bud Happy unfortunately not it's worse than it's ever been but not my disc it's above my left hip. Struggling to walk today and not a good way but it will teach me to not push it too far next time.

Not too bad just annoyingly slow! Think i'm getting booked for an MRI soon to see whats properly going on. For the time being it's a lot of heat treatment, foam rolling and core strengthening/stability work.

Squats -

A couple of mates wanted to come over and try for a one rep max on squat so thought i'd try my hand at squatting heavy to see how it goes. Haven't trained all week because of work, physio etc so was looking forward to it.

Squats -

60kg x 8
80kg x 5
100kg x 3
120kg x 3
Belt on
140kg x 3
180kg x 2
200kg x 1
210kg x 1 Belt only PB Grin

Well happy with that Grin Everything felt good till the 210kg when my back went but the pain was worth it Tongue

Overhead Barbell walking lunges -

40kg x 20m
40kg x 20m

Then spent about 5 mins throwing the 15kg keg about. Found out I can throw it further one handed than 2 and further with my left than my right even though I'm right handed! You learn something new everyday as the say. I also learnt 10kg can be a massive difference as I'm now in agony lying on the floor but f**k it I got a PB Tongue Back to normal training next week and better back management.

nails said:Nice work mate. BTN push press/jerk is a fun thing to do, I bet you'll get big numbers on this soon.

Bloody told you you'd like the DB z-press, just hope its as good for you as it is me.Tongue

Made a nice change doing it and a different technique to try.

Was good could definitely feel it in my core and legs trying to stay steady. Could work up higher but left shoulder gave up for some reason.

Pressing -

Had another physio session Monday so back feeling slightly better. Really need to get my training sorted and train more regularly. Haven't trained consistantly in months!

Strict -

40kg x 15
60kg x 10
75kg x 5
75kg x 5
75kg x 5
75kg x 5

BTN Jerk -

75kg x 3
90kg x 2
100kg x 1 PB Grin
105kg x f
105kg x f
105kg x 1 Easy
115kg x f Bottled it!

Never really done BTN before but quite liked it. The 105kg were so close! I've definitely lost some explosiveness since my dip in training.

CG Strict Press -

60kg x 5
60kg x 5
60kg x 5

And this one is just for Nails........

Single arm DB Z Press -

25kg x 5 r, 3 l
25kg x 3 each arm
25kg x 3 each arm

Liked this!

A pain, free session Grin Back feels a little tight now but hopefully a session on the foam roller will sort that.

nails said:I like the way you're testing the water, pretty sure you'll find some stuff you can do without issue. Other stuff will be a complete no no. Do front squats give you issues?

Yea they do, more than back squats unfortunately!
