With people like that in charge no wonder no world class oly lifters are coming out the UK. How can she expect a 16 year old who is still growing naturally to stabilize their bodyweight? All sounds like excuses/BS because the organisation is lacking in funds itself, I presume. This is probably not their fault though, given that the British Government is more concerned with giving handouts to wa**ers that sit on their arses all day getting drunk and smoking weed than they are with helping young athletes. | ||

Member 1848, 99 posts SQ 330, BP 205, DL 270805.0 kgs @ 88kgs Eq | It wouldn't surprise me if part of the reason she got out of gymnastics is the contsant pressure girs gymansts are under to keep their weight down - 2 of my daughters' friends who are gymnasts have real issues on that fronts and are constantly being berated about their weight - Even though imo both are too skinny! - One gets weighed every training session - really not good. Glad ZS has got her funding back | ||
