» Arm Wrestling (Go to post)30-03-2011 @ 18:11
A friend of mine has a metal plate in his arm after someone challenged him to an arm wrestle. He says that all he remembers of the challenge was an unbelievably loud SNAP, and then waking up in hospital.

You have to train in secret? That's fantastic!

"Idesperately wanted to see what was on the top of this frame, so I had to pull myself up to see. Then I kept forgetting what I'd seen, so I had to check another five times."

Why have you been banned from training?

He's looking increasingly like Humpty Dumpty.
» Dr. Joe Kiesel presses 600 lbs - new world record? (Go to post)24-03-2011 @ 15:48
Dr. Joe seems rather indifferent to the whole process. He wanders around between lifts with a look of weary resignation, as if he doesn't really want to be there.

I wonder whether he dreams of more genteel pursuits - pottering around in the garden, perhaps, or a bit of afternoon telly.

I think he yearns to escape his manic life of bogus strength records and vest-boy adulation.

I see that on 20/3/11, you did about 21 sets of back, you fruitcake. Is there a rationale behind that, or do you just like training back?

Thank you Mr. Board. Yes, they were quite tough for someone of my level of fitness.
