The arm over arm and herc hold will no doubt shake things up, as a number of the really strong guyz aren't the best at these

Your goal should surely be UKSC qualification

Hercules should in theory be good for me (I came 2nd at UKSC North on it), but arm-arm and loading (barrells especially) can be VERY hit and miss for me, so my placing will depend how I do on in them 2 TBH

Log & Deads should be solid enough

Stones will be s**te as always

its a dam shame...you and Martin woukld have had (well he still has) a great shot at making it on the box

From what I know of the Scots scene, Ken will win it, Lee Allan will make it (although his grip is a weakness isn't it?)...and it will be very very open for the other 2 (or 3 if lee does have a poor grip...given there is a hold and arm-arm)

Thats a pretty good call

John who got to the final day at last years UKs could be back from a bicep injury he sustained at the SSM qual, but I don't know yet, if he is he will be favourite for 2nd

Lee's static strength is through the roof at the moment, so he will push Ken on the log and dead, he has a baby due at finals time though, so regardless he won't get clearance to go to the final

He does yes, infact he should be top 4 and if he isn't its his own fault. Events suit him, some of the guys that might challenge him not there, he should be on the telly.

With those events, maybe not the best for me, but I cant be there anyway. I would love to be, although i would be frightened of qualifying as I would be on telly totally out of my depth, getting owned Roll-Eyes

I really do think you have a great shot though, and you would do much better there than I would if it is like last year. The things I am better than you at, I am nowhere near the English guys on, so would still struggle, whereas, on your good events you would still do well in that field

Arm-arm, hercules, loading and stones Martin should place pretty well I'd imagine...top few on arm-arm/hercules

Deads and log should be solid also, so I'd be suprised if Martin didnt make top 4 (but again, i dont know much about the other guys really)

Spent most of my time gassing as I haven't seen anyone in a few weeks

Log up to 120, then failed the clean on 130, then got the clean but failed the press

Medley, 120 sandbag, 100 keg 10m, 200 duck walk 5 reps on a step to mimic power stairs, 35 secs

Today about an hour hitting the bags and skipping with Gemma
