Yesterday i benched 135kg

it started at the top
it touched my chest
it went back to the top
it was scruffy as fook

it was much sweeter than the 135kg from a few weeks back

I TOOK A LITTLE LONGER OVER MY WORKOUT TODAY AS I HAD A NEW CD TO LISTEN TO, IT WAS RATHER GOOD STRONG LYRICS DELIVERED BY A SUPRISINGLY YOUTHFUL VOICE.

Long leg band supported bench 140x3x4
some light dumbell raises and presses to finish.

Heaviest bench since 26.05.2024 (140.5) a very scruffy 140 may of gone today.....but happy with a solid 138.5....3 plates bruh round the corner!!!!

If only I had known changing the speed of the bar ascent from something like falling in slow motion to a more rigbyesque technique would lead to better days.....I didnt want to be the one to tell you that the bar might land high or low and that places like these are harder to press from.

Have done a fewe bits and bobs last couple of weeks benched up to 130kg

Squatted 20kg

Some deadlifts with 2x16kg kettlebells

Tonight i sat on the C2 did 2 sets of 5 minutes then a 500m 1.42.9 I hadnt missed the feeling you get in the last 150m!!!

See what tomorrow brings.

Confession time.....I havent been enjoying training

I enjoy the fact I benched 140 again just not the slog to get there

4 years ago I benched 140x8 15 years ago 140x19 on a down set

Yesterday I benched but mixed it up super setting with box jumps kettlebell press and deadlifts I managed 23 inch on th ebox jump which I was pleased with also supersetted our new fridge freezer being delivered 180cm x 90cm x76cm wighing around 90kg and they send one bloke without a taillift!!!!! It was not a painless delivery due to steps doglegs etc but the guy remained cheerful and upbeat and went away with a crisp 20 for his efforts.
