bo***cks. Zuluglove are superb. I've had my current pair since 2009, being used at least twice a week, on a sharp as f**k texas bar, up to 340kg. They're wider than most straps and about 2 foot long so will even go around an axle 2 or 3 full turns.
I wouldn't even consider using a different strap.
Ironmind are short and don't bind against themselves well at all.

Id agree with the last bit certainly they do tend to be a little slippy (not that that's Brians fault!)
I usually rub chalk on them too.

My ironmind straps are starting to fray where the straps go through the loop. Ive had them about a year so even at a mediocre strength level they wont last forever.

Quick question, I was thinking of ordering a pair of the 20kg bumpers to save wear and tear on my floor. I don't want to have to replace all my weights so was thinking of just getting one pair. Are they large enough to clear regular plates?

It depends what size your other plates are Happy But yes, generally they will. Bumpers are 450mm diameter, and we often use a set of 25's on the inside, and load outside of them with cast or steel centered plates, and there's a mm or two of difference.

I'll measure tonight Happy I've got some rubber coated ones, which may be a little larger than normal iron ones.

They should still be ok I think, but yes, best to measure to make sure.

Yes, in about 10 days time or so. Will be re-branded as something like 'Deluxe Rubber/Chrome' plates.

Quick question - with the thick handled dumbell, do the plates still come off with collars, or are the ok with regular springs?

i use springs on mine but if you drop it around a bit the springs do tend to bend. recommended you use olympic collars imo.

Is there a current discount going for forum members?

I am struggling to stomach postage prices on top of everything.
