A market exists for people to lift weights that far exceed their true abilities, to standards that are far lower than elsewhere, and the SPF fills it quite nicely. They even call themselves "America's strongest powerlifters". | ||

It will be interesting to see how he gets on a RUM5 next year if he properly builds up to that. | ||

It's great to see top equipped lifters lifting unequipped to see just what they can really do. It will be interesting to see if he lifts much more with practice. At 82.5kg bwt 245kg unequipped squat sems to be in the same ball park as top GB lifters at that bwt at the moment. I don't see why we should expect much more. | ||
