how does your max strict press compare to your max push press

possibly a better % than Mark on the PP and front jerk

BUT he does have a beastly strict press

I reckon my Strict right now is about 66% of my Push if it's as much as that.

strict press = 65kg
push press = 75kg
jerk = 100kg

I think I've got a PB push press in me at the moment, but my technique is so crap and inconsistent it's pot luck what happens!

Same here, push press is definitely my most pot luck/inconsistent lift.

My best strict press ever was 8 x 80kg standing. I haven't tried heavier.

My best Push Press so far is 120kg. That was quite easy to be honest but I was being wimpy and got too scared to try heavier! SO I have no idea what that is as a percentage as the strict was 8 reps.

If I guess strict 1 rep is 90kg, thats 75%.



I've got the Chase comp coming up and I thought ah wow, overhead is my best event, 100kg thats ok. Then I tried power cleaning a 2 inch bar from 18 inch height. Hmmm. guess it doesn't matter what I can press eh?!?! Not if I cant get it to my shoulders!

Tried continental cleans to the belt but I pinched my belly fat between the bar and the belt and it hurt too much so I put it back down!

75 kg strict
80 kg push press
(132.5 kg squat)

Currently getting circa 20kg out of leg drive which is poor!
