Bodyweight + 90lb x 6

Final training session before the British Championships went well, getting all reps and an extra one on my final standing press set. Bodyweight was 99.5kg for this session so I'm getting closer to the weight limit than I ever have done before.

285kg fail

Bit of a strange session, squat and bench went as planned but a failure on the deadlift means I'll have to rethink my opener next Sunday! I could blame the cold I've had this weekend...

Squat:

1st attempt: 205 kg
2nd attempt: 215 kg (pb)
3rd attempt: 220 kg fail

Bench Press:

1st attempt: 120 kg
2nd attempt: 127.5 kg (equal pb)
3rd attempt: 130 kg fail

Deadlift:

280 kg
300 kg (NR)
302.5 kg fail

Total: 642.5 kg (1st in Junior)

Easily my best ever lifting, breaking my own PB total by 17.5 kg, and finally reaching a milestone deadlift! I also found out the hard way that rushing warm-ups mean I only have 2 big lifts in me, 20 minutes for each lift straight after the last one is not enough!

I saw your 300 pull Brett but had no idea what weight it was. All I know was I saw your first 2 lifts. 300kg for a junior is incredible!!!

Very poor bench press, possibly caused by lack of sleep and food. The reps were easy enough, just didn't have the energy to do the last 2.

Easy enough session, just trying to get back to what I was lifting before the competition, while still keeping technique strict.
