Pull-ups are in now way proportionate to DL ability
They are a BW exercise, so that is biggest factor
Couldnt see Big Mick doing say 26, as Millsy can, but can pull 465

Mick outpulls Andy B now? did I miss something?
But I do agree, doubt Andy would do many but has a rather large pull

I applied to be a contestant on Gladiators back in 1998, where one of the requirements was 10 chin-ups. I didn't get to do it though... I failed miserably on the f**king running machine (first test), and it was game over!!

When I was lighter and fitter I once did a charity medley of sit ups, press ups and chin ups, for 1 minute of each.
I did 59 chin ups in 1 minute, I kid you not.
I also did 56 sit ups and 65 press ups.
Not in the same minute of course !
The movements were strict-ish but as it was for charity nobody was really checking.
I hasten to add, before anyone asks me to prove any of this, that I couldn't do it now
I would guess I was under 16 stone at the time and far fitter than the fat old fecker that I have become.
I reckon right now I could make a dozen or so.

Yeah i'm the same, often do 100 in a session and like to break them down into sets (of 10 or 15) so i can do them slow. i love pull-ups/chin-ups.
Ive nicked a set off mr smalls routine, the 5, 1,2,3,4,4,3,2,1 5.
I do this when i workout with weights. twice before (to warm up) and twice after (to finish me off!) that way i know ive done 120 in a session.
i probably do about 20-25 in one go, havent checked for a while tho,as i mostly do them in sets. the most ive done with weight is 5 with 45kg in a backpack.

i was told once that bodyweight plus weight added for a max single pullup, should be roughly around your bench max?
