60 hour week last week meant no training at all cause I was f**ked, training today then full on from next week and f**k work!

last day of the week and 1st training session of it for me, did power cleans again (love em) tried to concentrate on littleA's advice and not pull with the arms and catch it on the delts , now I'm not saying they were perfect but it felt like a definite improvement from last week!
Also tried some snatches ,is it me or are they the most unnatural feeling exercise !they felt really f**king awkward and must have looked like they fell out of the ugly tree and hit every single branch on the way down!
Did push presses for the first time and really enjoyed them , holding something heavy(relatively speaking) over your head and knowing you got it there yourself is a great feeling these along with the power cleans are here to stay!

something hideous that may have looked faintly like a powersnatch barx10 20x3 30x3 40x3 50x1 50x1 60xfail had to press out!

power cleans 60kx5 70kx5 80kx3/3/3

push press 50kx5 60kx5 70kx3 75kx1 pb but only because its the first time Ive done them!


left it that and went back inside feeling good lifting weights is great!

Well its a long term target ,since I'm miles away from it at the moment ,it may prove to be a bit of a pipe dream but I love the olympic lifts and its good to have a target!
much respect to proper olympic lifters like yourself making it look so easy and fluid when the reality is that its f**king difficult! Got any tips for snatching?

You're giving me more credit than i deserve, Jeff, Andy and Tony would be much more useful than i. I'm a newbie myself, some vids i've updated recently might be of little help. Plus if you have any question i'd be happy to give pointers if i can do.

Squats today and i was f**king s**te couldnt get anywhere near depth because my all singing all dancing peice of s**t inzer lever belt feels like its breaking my f**king ribs every time I get within an inch of paralell! my ribs feel like Ive had 10 rounds with mike tyson after raping his mum's arse infront of him!

I think I need to rethink my squatting ,I'm currently considering starting completely from scratch again
next week with something like 80k5x5 and just adding 2.5k a week so i nail depth and form!

On the plus side i was pleased with the good mornings ,In fact I find them easier than squatting,i think being the shape of a string bean means I'm not genetically predisposed to squat!

squat 100kx5 102.5kx5 (no belt no rib pain)
110k x5 belt on high and ouch 120k x5 even higher and double ouch 130k x1 gotstuck under the second far to painful f**k this Ive had enough!

box squat 60kx5 70kx5 80kx3 (no belt not too bad)

good mornings 80kx10 90kx8 100kx6 ahh thats better!

sit ups 15k /1 f**k that not happening ,my poor little ribs!

and that was that!
