 My opinions have run their course Member 694, 3112 posts | I am quite friendly with Derrick Evans a.k.a Mr Motivator though we have never met in person, he did send me a signed unitard which says 'to dave, be happy, mr m' and a few photos lol.... yes ive tried it on before you ask had a good chat with jay from five once, when he was filming ant and decs sat night takeaway at my work... got a photo with him got lots of signed photos as i went thru a phase of writing off for them, off the top of my head.... dawn french, gordon ramsey, jamie oliver, bird from place in the sun, lucy verasamy from sky news, frank gallagher from shameless, judy dench, all of the band saturdays, dale winton, lots of page three birds such as nicola t and lucy pinder, martin clunes, right said fred, showaddy waddy, melanie sykes also pulled up at traffic lights next to david james once in portsmouth, and saw michael owen crossing the road at the race horse sales near my house in doncaster | ||

Especially seeing as (as far as I know) the Saturdays are a recent/current girl band, so you haven't even got the excuse that you were a kid at the time! | ||

My opinions have run their course Member 694, 3112 posts | no its all over the last twelve months... mate there is not a lot to do at sea and its a right laugh getting them in the post. also been on the dear diedre 'write to a serviceman' list but that was bad cos there was just an endless stream of desperate letters from 'bubbly single mothers' just trying to bag a bloke in uniform to look after their pot noodle family | ||

Met Frank Sidebottom the same night, absolutely hilarious, especially when we tried to get his cardboard head off and couldnt find a seam, it really is his head!! Had a pair of weightlifting boots that were purchased off Angel Guenchev, the heaviest man ever to clean and jerk triple bodyweight. | ||

My opinions have run their course Member 694, 3112 posts | Don't quite now where you're going with that one col austin.... by quite friendly i mean he added me on a social networking site and sends me emails once in a while. it started when i wrote to him asking him to do a circuit on my ship for the lads, and get it on gmtv, when the ship was alongside greenwich london. we had it all sorted out except for the gmtv part of it, who weren't bothered. so it fell through. but because of the tooing and frowing he sent me parcel with the photos/unitard in it. lol... so yeah friendly in an internet friendly kind of way | ||
