Venue changed some time ago to:-
OAKMEAD COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY,DUCK LANE,BOURNEMOUTH,BH119JJ.
The Championships are being hosted by the College in partnership with Bournemouth University on 21st/22nd November 2009.They are located very close to each other. The facilities are even more extensive than those at the University and they also have a 10m by 6m weights gym with 3 w/l platforms which will be used as a warm up area. The Competition Hall (34m by 18m)is next to the the warm up gym.
Pullumsports and York Barbell will be present throughout with sales and display.Food and drink will be on sale and entry is by the purchase of "HELP the HEROES" raffle tickets(£1).
The entry is very high(90 currently) and l WILL HAVE TO CLOSE IT AT THE TOP NUMBER WE CAN PROPERLY MANAGE(95).The 82.5kg and 90kg classes will each require two flights .More surprisingly the 125/125+ classes entry is 12 already.
PLEASE CONTACT ME URGENTLY BY PHONE OR EMAIL IF YOU WANT TO LIFT AND HAVE NOT ALREADY ENTERED. Time is running out and l do not want to disappoint anyone!

Paul

Hey Paul, how did the u75kg guys get on? I was supposed to be lifting in this, but unfortunatley broke my hand fairly recently, gutted I missed out.

Also, will you be down tomorrow? I'll be going to watch one of my friends lift in the u90kg class.

I was down there watching today. Good comp indeed. My mate Dave did well (won the u90kg unequipped class), Ian put in a good performance (great squats), Phil K was pretty solid (very deep squats, impressive indeed) and Joe was handling a lot of weight for a young guy (just a shame he bombed on the bench).

All the sugdenites I recall seeing ^^^, there may have been more there lifting, but I wasn't aware if there were.
