All those juniors are shifting good weights, That 78kg fella is bloody impressive especially, i take it they will be at the british juniors next year. Thanks. Yes, all impressive lads and hopefully all will be at the British Juniors next year.

Old Age Presser Member 75, 7754 posts SQ 0, BP 200, DL 200400.0 kgs @ 105kgs Eq | Not really 'on the ball' last night. Sluggish, shoulder sore, but let's see what we can do... Bar for 20 40 for 10 60 for 8 80 for 6 100 for 4 120 for 3 140 for 2. Loose shirt on mid point and 160 for 3 (4 inches) 170 for 2 (2 inches) 180 for 1 (touch) Shoulder sore so left it there. Let's see what Sunday brings... Woke up this morning with a stinking cold. A relief in a way, explains last night's weakness. Chris G had no such suffering though. 250 deadlift, which I've posted on his 240 thread.

Let me know in advance; Mick, James and I will rearrange the training week to do some deadlifting with him, there are one or two very small pointers I could help him with from the vid. He is an excellent prospect!

Old Age Presser Member 75, 7754 posts SQ 0, BP 200, DL 200400.0 kgs @ 105kgs Eq | Post Edited: 13.10.2009 @ 10:22 AM by Martin1956 Thanks guys. Had an internet free Monday, as per.My NW Bench: Warmed up to a single with 140. Virtually no shoulder pain, so loose shirt on and 160 for 1 to 4 inches 170 for 1 to 2 inches. Ready to rock 'n' roll... 180 - 3 whites 192.5 - 3 whites 202.5 - not quite there on the day, but the 192.5 was a new British manflu record. On reflection, I think I'd have got 202 in the loose shirt. The 192.5 felt (and looked on video) easier than it ever has before. Lesson learned. The rest of the gang all came away with positives. Chris Graham got a pb 112.5 in a shirt he hasn't had time to learn yet. He came into the gym last night an got a raw 100 for the first time - that's about a 17.5 improvement in the last couple of months. George Lamb got a new British U 18 record in the 67.5 class, which sadly won't count because there was no national referee - but he knows he's done it and there's plenty more to come. Scott Nolan (Turbokid) got a 125 pb (in spite of taking his shirt off 3 minutes before he was due to lift because it was a bit tight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Paul Kopec won the 82s class with 140, but came away gutted because he wanted 155 and didn't get it because he cocked up his first lift in my shirt and had to do it again. Ryan Bell isn't ready to lift yet, but came along to watch, came away enthused, and will make him debut in December. Nice to catch up with everyone again, and to welcome Rick to the 200 club. Did a bit of coaching in the gym last night. Tried out the shoulders after Sunday, but still a bit delicate so stopped at 120 for 3 and left it there.
