Strict log - 1 clean, 2 presses Belt + wraps, 114 x 4 in 80s. 1 clean strict log 44 x 25, 20, 15. Hub holds 1 finger hub holds DB skullcrushers Hex holds 8 reps strict at 114 is apparently a PB. I shall do a set of 10 next time which will equal my pb with leg drive. PM Mobility and stretching. Also ordered a set of low budget J hooks for the rack to allow for more options. | ||

Deadlift 260, Suit, 320 x 1, 1, Belt, 360 x 1, 330 x 6. Sack swing 18, Sack toss over 3.8m 18, Up to 26 x 5 - PB. A lot of volume on frame and sack toss today. The frame "PB" is purely because I've never recorded this lift due to the wild variety of frames, but as this is my own frame it can be a useful marker for progression. Got the suit a bit too tight for repping today but still hit the 6 reps quite comfortable and learned my lesson about getting carried away with the straps. | ||

Frame deadlift 106, 186, 266. Planned to blow off training after a day of working in the sun but they released the competitors list for fitxpo and i got all excited. For about 45 minutes. Then i was done. Squat PB was fairly comfortable, probably had a 3rd rep there if i was committed. | ||

Member 5141, 4211 posts SQ 300, BP 180, DL 350830.0 kgs @ 130kgs UnEq | 6/6 - strongest man in the North - Vikings Jumped in a comp at Viking Strength and Power with a weeks notice because the events are similar to fitxpo so wanted to see how comp fitness held up. 130 log Did 5 reps FTOH. All strict and all reasonably comfortable. At least 1 more in the tank if i was committed but i took a fairly relaxed paced. Joint 1st. 280 deadlift 12 reps in just under 50s. Only needed 6 to win but wanted to check my fitness and i think I'll need 12 or 13 at England's. 1st. 150 farmer's x 40m, no turn Trained grip 3 times this week (most recently about 40hrs before the comp,) and i will be doing the same again for another few weeks, so i was very clear that i wasn't doing multiple pick ups. Surprised myself by doing about 35m before i dropped. Resisted the temptation to do a 2nd pick. 4th. Conans wheel Forgot to chalk up before this but still felt decent and i was moving well. 2 rotations, 1 more than anyone else. 1st place. Stones, 120 - 170 Strained my left biceps a bit snatching at the first stone so i was a bit hesitant on the others. Loaded a fairly comfy 4 and didn't try to tackle the 5th as that is a horrid stone and i didn't fancy risking a serious pull on the arm. 2nd. Overall 1st, but more importantly learned a couple of bits which will be useful and that my fitness is very solid (5 events in around 90 mins and breathing fine at the end). | ||
