Right hamstring utterly ruined, a combination of box squats and physio i believe, otherwise I'm feeling pretty good.
Really struggling with positioning on log press right now. Strength is there, but forgetting cues and just not getting any snap. Will be staying around this weight for a week or two to try and get things back on track.
Stones just trying to work on a quick lap and then up.

Took another shot at pulling in my SBD belt tonight, i just cant find a comfortable place for it. 1st 310 was as slow as that weight has moved in years. As an experiment i switched to my old belt and the second single was much smoother. As a result i think I'll be keeping my old belt as a deadlift belt.
Had to stop the final set as i almost poo'd during rep 4, until then things felt pretty easy, but I'm not s**tting on my garage floor without a damn good reason.

Really not feeling it today after hammering the extra hours at work fighting a losing battle.
Log press hasn't felt good for a little while so it quickly became a victim of my mood and got binned off in exchange for playing with cues on push press.

Physio tomorrow then hit deadlifts over the weekend.

A bit battered from physio, but want to be fresh for Mondays session so had to get deads done today, then I can rest tomorrow.
Deads felt good until rep 12, felt a sharp pain in my lower back. As it was still there when i locked out 13 i stopped the clock to stretch it out.
Finished off with a few set up tests for exercises i'm looking to use in my peaking programme (starts in 10 days). Honourable mention to the leg curls as they were brutal.

Fairly happy with this. Shaved nearly 20 mins off my previous 25 rep PB.

Slight fumble on the final clean. I'd decided to try tightening the belt up an extra hole and for some reason it threw my balance.

Decided to ditch front squats and focus on log, see if having fresh legs stopped it feeling so s**t. It did. Lesson learned.
The PB double was a bit slow, but never in doubt.
The clean only isn't something I do a lot of, but i just wanted it for a before and after when i smash that weight at Northerns.
Stones felt good, much quicker than previous sessions. May well hit them again at Kaos on Saturday.
