For tests and time trials, people mostly do the arbitrary distances and times included in the C2 rankings: https://log.concept2.com/rankings In training anything goes, of course, and I agree that a sub-31s 200m is quite good.

still a devious weightlifting bastard Member 43, 14374 posts | Are there lower limits on these leader boards or what lads? I'm having a look and I'm certain I can make last place on at least a few of these. Maybe more if I try hard. Am I Aloud in?

still a devious weightlifting bastard Member 43, 14374 posts | Ace. I make finish last on 6 of them up to now. I'm all about progress so I'll look to finish last on more of them. Until then cop a load of this. 500m 2:02.5 1000m 4:18.4 2000m 9:26.7 5000m 23:53.9 10,000m 49:19.8 30min 6120m I also did a 21,000m in 1:53:43.7 Feels like it was ages ago, but was actually last month. I don't know what this means but it must mean something.

no longer the Swiss Deadlift record holder Member 3517, 3367 posts SQ 182.5, BP 122.5, DL 255560.0 kgs @ 90kgs UnEq | I was having look at the standings, aka basking in long gone glory, and I noticed there's an entry for the mile. Is it too late to add my 4:58.9 from October 2012? Either that or 5:14.9 from last year.

The mile was part of a Concept2 challenge week earlier this year, I did mine slow to allow BOAR the pleasure of being top of the table

I saw that, haven't looked at the details yet. I'm not liking all this online competing - rowing strongman and otherwise. Nothing beats the in person experience. Guess we don't have much of a choice these days.
