I saw that, haven't looked at the details yet.
I'm not liking all this online competing - rowing strongman and otherwise. Nothing beats the in person experience. Guess we don't have much of a choice these days.

I did enjoy the british online champs i did a couple of months back , there is a chance the English champs will be a live event in Manchester early next year , but other than that online may be the here to stay , plus i probably wont ever have the oppertunity to do a worlds in person

I am very unfit, and this is literally the 4th 500m interval I've done on the C2 but:

1:36.8 - 500m.

This was after heavy deadlifting and I didn't really feel like I had any oxygen after the 1 min mark. Should be able to get it comfortably under 1:30 with a bit of practice.

Thanks chaps. It's just cardio that's letting me down at the moment and nothing else. I feel that I could go a lot faster over a shorter distance. I might have a go at the 100m and 1 min times/distances tomorrow.

First time trying a couple of different distances:

100m - 16.2 seconds. I did go at this hard, but this was after heavy benching and two fairly brisk 500m intervals, so I'd like to think I've got close to 15 seconds in there. This is the first time I've ever tried this.

1000m - 3:43.5. A fairly sedate effort to cool down, but it gives me a time to aim for in future.

Very nice. Any tips for those short sprints? I've tried it a couple of times (16.3 and 16.4) and my arse almost comes off the seat with the leg drive.

Put the feet thingys up 1 or 2 higher than usual, rate high 50+spm practice practice practice

If you can get the first 3 pulls right thats half the battle

do 10x100 concentrate on the start
