This was after heavy deadlifting and I didn't really feel like I had any oxygen after the 1 min mark. Should be able to get it comfortably under 1:30 with a bit of practice. | ||

I feel that I could go a lot faster over a shorter distance. I might have a go at the 100m and 1 min times/distances tomorrow. | ||

I did go at this hard, but this was after heavy benching and two fairly brisk 500m intervals, so I'd like to think I've got close to 15 seconds in there. This is the first time I've ever tried this. 1000m - 3:43.5. A fairly sedate effort to cool down, but it gives me a time to aim for in future. | ||

Put the feet thingys up 1 or 2 higher than usual, rate high 50+spm practice practice practice If you can get the first 3 pulls right thats half the battle do 10x100 concentrate on the start | ||

I like short sprint training, so might focus on it for a bit. It also just occurred to me that it was 16.4 on my first attempt and 16.3 on my second, so at least there was a tiny improvement. | ||
