Is this on YouTube? | ||

the Ergbreaker Member 19, 858 posts SQ 190, BP 140, DL 260590.0 kgs @ 128kgs UnEq | My heart really sank when I first heard the news about this supposed grudge match fight between the two of them. I was really getting back into watching strongman again, and it's genuinely interesting to follow on it's own merit. Boxing has nothing to do with strongman and vice versa. It's like Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel deciding that they've competed enough in F1 so they are going to switch to Monster truck driving. It's total bo***cks.

Member 4416, 1370 posts SQ 210, BP 175, DL 240625.0 kgs @ 122kgs UnEq | So has Thor officially retired? So glad to have seen probably the strongest man in history during my age. Anybody gonna get stronger?

End of an era. Member 4646, 1964 posts | I think Thor will return. He should just compete at 180-190kg when he does return. He doesn't need to be 205kg to win comps, to get records - yes.

He officially announced his retirement after he won Iceland's strongest Man for the 10th year in a row. He said 'never say never though' in regards to competing again
