Nice to see you logging Will.

I’m not. I’ve lost interest in putting down my paltry efforts into the forum 😄

Training for an u80 qual again this year?

Hello Will. Nice to see you back Happy

Comfy looking lifting there.

In case you haven't been following the forum, I suddenly got appendicitis in September and had to have my appendix removed. I'm a bit lighter/weaker than I was, but have got back up to a 102kg strict press with a thin log. I'll probably stay at a lighter bodyweight (around 14 stone).

Hope you're well.

alright mate. at the moment im just planning to do the natty u80 qualifier. outside of that the u80s is a bit of a mess from what ive seen. with the amount of effort that goes into prepping to compete I wont bother with half ass comps these days. so prob just stick with the natties as they are usually well run.

hey wayne. wow glad you got that sorted. nah ive not been on at all. had a self imposed exile from social media. its the work of the devil! missed my keeping up with my lifting homies though so im back.

Yeah im good. had a re-evaluation of priorities and im in a decent place these days.

Glad to see a log once again Will and hope you are well.

Also, agreed on 80s in this country. Bodypower was great last year, but entry is steep. Only comps I would do u80 now are internationals.

My efforts in this land will be focussed solely on u90 for the time being

its a bit crap isnt it. in fact, I look at comps in general every now and again and nothing much excites me even though there are plenty on. cant do bodypower because its midweek. 90s are decent but im not strong enough now. must be getting fussy in my old age. fussy and weak.
