PaulSavage said:Forgot to say in the review, what ive done with Becca is allowed her to eat a little bit in this prep/phase, which has meant she has put on a lot of muscle, but also a lot of fat. This isn't ideal, but with Becca's genetics I don't seem to have any other choice. For UK's she was hardly eating at all, well under 1000 calories a day plus lot of cardio and training. This was the only way she could lose weight. In this prep she's been maybe having 1250 a day, possibly 1500 some days. It's obviously very little food for someone her size but for her that's causing a lot of weight gain and of course much better strength gains so now it's a case of cutting for strong woman comp she has coming up.

I'd get to a hospital asap if I had these metabolic issues.

There has to be some kind of reason for it but doctors have found everything to be normal in the past so it may simply be genetic. Not everybody is the same.

I'd guess the reason is either under-reporting or miscalculating intake, or possibly both.

Paul,

I won't say anymore after this (mainly because it sounds like I'm trying to be a c**t and I certainly don't intend to be a c**t to you or your Good Lady on this issue) but it is VERY easy to sneak in extra calories even with people "watching"...I speak with some personal experience on this, unfortunately.

I considered this at first when I didn't know her too well but no it really is all she eats. At lot of times in the UK prep I had to make her eat more due to lack of protein for recovery. It isn't unheard of, I remember max Charles the bodybuilder almost doesn't eat at all and is 140kg+ ripped.

Ok so have seen that the whea organisation is putting on a worlds strongest woman and world grip championships on the same weekend in September and it's looking like we will be going Finland for this. There's a british qualifier coming up pretty soon for the strong woman, the grip championships is open invite. This is anti doping organisation so sticking with no supplements of course if going this direction. Still trying to get information on events etc but think the grip events are silver bullet, blockbuster pinch, hub pinch, ironmind axle for reps (overhand grip) and one hand deadlift using hook grip. No info found on women's events yet but british championships (qualifier) is 155kg axle deadlift for reps, 40kg dumbbell press for reps, 80kg atlas stone for reps, 200kg yoke and 90kg farmers walk.

Trained earlier because we have Bolton's strongman/woman comp soon. Didn't push much, went to +60kg and 50kg chains on smith shoulder press for a few reps and 60kg incline +chains for 8. Becca just did the chains.

Only video I got was when finishing up on some cable fly's but still don't know how to embed Instagram vids on here?

Finished up the week on a high today with 26 seconds on the #4 silver bullet with each hand. This is 8 seconds more than the current world record.

Also Becca managed a big lift on the stub for her first time using it with a 13.7kg lift. This would be the 3rd highest female lift on record if done in competition.

Also got a video of some of the squats against bands we did

Plus towel grip rower to finish which was a killer
