Don't want to be a moaning sod, but there were a LOT of runners, the weather was bad and the speeches went on till 10 past 9. Not the weather to be standing about in. I had root canal treatment Friday which was adding to my unpleasantness. Quite pleased with the time. You should wear your 100 with pride. 2 years or so of consistency. Not bad for a fat old spaz, I know.

You have to pay for them Jon but you do get plenty of time to save up.

Got dragged off to the English championships yesterday. Saw Becky Tilers class. She lifted very well missing only her first snatch. 91 119, but she was matched lift for lift by another of Callards girls, who was lighter. Great comp and bodes well for some future battles in the 69 class.

Big numbers at a Parkrun can interfere with a decent time. When I was at the point of trying to get quicker I soon learned that positioning at the start can add 20-30 seconds to your time.
I'll be wearing the 100 t-shirt with pride indeed. The only down side will be people seeing me in it and asking why I am so s**t if I've run so many. Although if you look at time divided by kilos carried round I'm prob no too bad............ for a fat old spaz!!

You only used to have to pay postage for the t-shirts, has it changed??

Think this is spot on. Only problem with this at the minute is that to get a better position would mean getting there earlier, which means standing in the cold a fair bit longer, so until it warms up a bit I'll have to ride out a s**t first half k till it thins out/

I think you should. You've done well to stay so consistent over the years at something that you weren't that bothered about.

No, you're right. They are listed at £16, but only available to people who have done the deed, and are indeed free to such hero's. Makes you wonder why they are listed at £16
Confused

Enjoy keeping up with this log matey. Variety being the spice of life an all that.

As an aside Callard has been giving a bit of coaching to one of my lads. County rugby player, hard bas***d. Probably the kind of kid who if he'd been coached from a young age would have had serious potential.

Thanks Olly. I'll keep it going while I'm still enjoying it, which I am at the mo.

Your lad will be fine with Callard. His coaching yesterday in the womens 69k class was PERFECT!! All his girl had to do was lift the next weight. No thinking for her to do. That said she went 6 for 6 and was 'Callard ballsy' all the way.

Anyway, back to the real world...

Press
40 x 5,5,5
60 x 3
72.5 x 3
82.5 x 3
87.5 x 1
77.5 x 5

DL
70 x 3
110 x 3
140 x 3
170 x 5

On a slightly non training related tangent, I'm starting to lean more towards a Triumph than a Ducati. I've got 3 months to think more about this.

I need to hear them both Rick. I know this may not be a deciding factor to most, but to me it matters. Both have a strong image, which is also important. A street Triple does 0-60 in 3 seconds. Whilst nice this is less important.

Thanks Jonny. I think I may be a bit heavier though? I tipped the scales at 85.2K this morning. Been 15 years since I was last walking around at this weight, which is good, but I'm still no Pete Hodgeson and that isn't so good. Don't think my boxing is very advanced, but you don't know what you don't know. I've enjoyed watching a lot of Julian Jackson lately and sometimes I feel like that, but I may well look like a braying donkey.
