AKA the great reset Member 4056, 5207 posts	Was on a strongman site and discovered that Mariusz has won 42 out of 59 competitions. That is incredible. Obviously guys have gone on to have much more static strength, but Pudz had all the tools he needed to be the man in his day. He did struggle with Arnolds, because he wasn't the absolute strongest but he did have underrated static strength for his time. He was a fierce competitor and will always be remembered by casuals, probably for his aesthetic shape as well as titles. Just think Mariusz has been a little forgotten recently, perhaps due to how the sport has evolved and how much more static strength the top guys possess now.

Member 5708, 391 posts SQ 260, BP 195, DL 275 730.0 kgs @ 137.5kgs UnEq	Although I think he is the most well known amongst the casual fans that I know (possibly due to my age, my friends would have watched him as a kid like I did and they no longer watch it) I do think he gets written off very quickly when discussing if he'd be competitive nowadays. He was light and fast because he needed to be, I think he would've adapted and maybe won a few more titles if he had carried on.
