Congrats on your result on Saturday Bish. I must say, when the yoke was being bigged up pre event by Z and Loz, I said to my missus that I was shocked that nobody mentioned you as a favourite and that you would smash it!

Hopefully now they know!

How are you feeling now post show? Happy with the performance?

I was absolutely broken post show as my back went into spasm, feeling much better now.

I picked up a couple of injuries in the lead up to the show so I didn't want to push it too hard so I'm pretty happy with the result - especially as if my strap hadn't snapped on the deadlift I would have taken 2nd overall. Bit disappointed with log as its been going well in training. They were brand new and slippy which proved a problem for us who use their legs to press as it kept slipping out of position every time I dipped for the press. The 3 guys who pressed the log all strict pressed it therefore didn't have this problem. Lesson learnt - keep working on strict log.

Next comp for me is Giants Live Doncaster so all my training is working towards that.
