Yes .. Fantastic effort at the UKs also mate .. I always try my hardest to avoid results so I can watch the show in a "match of the day" like fashion .. Sure you know the winner but not the specifics ..

Injured my ankle Saturday night playing dodgeball Grin

Won't know what I've done until the swelling and bruising goes down (hopefully tomorrow) but I don't think its too bad. Hopefully back to usual training next week. This week is just some seated UB work, not really worth writing about.

Training Update

The swelling has come down and I've got a suspected grade 2 tear of my ATFL. I'm not going to have a scan as I suspect it will find things are a bit worse down there so its the conservative route for me. Been in a boot for the last 10 days (came out today) so plenty of proprioception work is on the card.

I see this injury a lot at work and I usually get guys back in 6-8 weeks. I have a comp in 4 and a half weeks so it should be just about doable (will be exactly 6 weeks post injury).

One benefit form the injury is that my bodyweight has gone up to 132.8kg.For the last 10 days I have been just doing Upperbody work and some Bulagrian split squats in the boot. Yesterday I did this session in the boot:

Tuesday 16th December

Strict Press
Barx2 60x2 80x2 100x2 110x1 120x2

Paused Strict Press
97.5x3x2

Lateral Raise
4x10

Banded OH Tricep Ext
4x12

Band Pressdowns
4xreps

CG Press Ups
1 rest/pause set to failure

Will be attempting to deadlift tomorrow.
