Were does everyone shop for smart going out clothes?

Just been manchester town centre for some smart clothes to like wear on a night out!

Not bought clothes in over a year just been wearing sweats!

Nike and stuff clothes XL seens to fit me fine but shops like burton, topman, next ect ect only go to size XXL and think there all going for the slim look!

And its not working for me!
I'm not even nowere near the fattest or biggest guy on here so surly you bigger guys have trouble?

burton is good up here... jeans up to 44 maybe 46, and shirts etc up to like a 20inch collar.

jacamo - just seen an ad for it. google it. meant to be cheap brand clothes for big lads.

While Im not in the same mighty-sized league as you sam I do find that I struggle in burton/next due to my small hips/large legs or large chest/small waist combo.

My personal favourite for workshirts is racing green stuff as they seem to be cut a bit better than the usual skinny boy fit (which I used to be Grin ). Just stay away from high street fashion and go for proper menswear

Hope that helps

dude, check out this crew, would you really get any clothing tips from them?

TK maxx is the best mate, the XXL section in each category is really small so it wont take long Grin

Why do people that make shirts generally stop at a size 18 collar? I can just about do up a size 18 but feel more comfortable in a 19.

I have to wear a collar and tie most days for work and I look strangled in an 18 with the top button done up and scruffy with the top button undone.

To be fair, you're not exactly the 'average' size, surely you can understand why most high street shops dont make clothes that fit you?

You need to hit up a specialist shop. Surely you can find the short and fat equivalent of high and mighty? Wink

I share your pain mate. They seem to cut thinking so if you have chest/shoulders you also have a gut like a wallruss

Where can you get decent smart shirts that fit in the shoulders and chest that are slim in the waist?

Going a few sizes bigger usually results in a f**k load of excess material around the waist!
