After a bit of feedback on this badboy from you guys in the know. It's not that I struggle sleeping or anything, but since I gave up drinking, smoking or taking anything that can give you a buzz, pop or fart I sometimes feel I'm missing out on having my mind altered. Heard a bit about ZMA giving some deep and trippy dreams whilst affording the user a decent nights kip. What gives? I'm thinking sleeping magic mushrooms without any ill effects. Am I far off with this or is it all marketting bollox? Also, has anyone had any experience with this on sleeping days after a nightshift? If I watch porn for half an hour before I sleep am I likely to dream about the Playboy mansion or am I stuck with giggling clowns and miserable bespectacled librarians?

Different people seem to react differently. I had to stop taking it because it gave me the weirdest most vivid dreams. Forget dreaming of playboy bunnies and sexy time and think more houses made from chopsticks with you being chased by gummy bears on clouds.

Get some Melatonin down your neck if your looking for some serious REM action. Used to get it in the states, but you might need prescription here..?.?

Get some melatonin or some GABA mate. Both are 'grey market' but easily accessible.

I'll have a look into both those Mark. Thanks Guys.

Are they grey enough to be able to discuss websites that offer more information?

I don't want to upset Rob. It's took him 7 years to forgive me for Fitpetegate Unhappy

Is GABA really grey market? Why?

I've not noticed any of the wacky dreams, started taking it the other day. ZMA gave me the dreams at the start but they went after a while. Still get them very occasionally. I've heard acetylcholine can have an impact on dreams.

I tried ZMA a few months ago. It definitely gave me some crazy dreams and actually made me look forward to going to sleep as I was curious as to what dream I would have. I was in a deeper sleep for sure! In fact I'm gonna get some again!

The craziest dream (and quite worrying) was when there was a smack head chasing me and I was hiding from him in an old mill. When he eventually found me after I'd been talking to all the ghosts he tried stabbing me with a syringe but I did some martial arts reversal move and stabbed him in the eye with it Cool

Andy, get some.

I used to wake up more tired than I went to sleep on zma. I felt mentally exhausted after a night where I'd used it.

I've had a poor time with ZMA. I'd either wake up with my alarm clock feeling really tired, or I'd wake up frequently throughout the night wide awake.

Just saw the comment regarding GABA,

Anything working via GABA receptor stimulation can cause physical dependants over time, with some, not that much time, so be careful. You may also find that you become tolerant to them quite quickly(tachyphylaxis), which may make you want to increase the dose, which would only end in repetition. You don't really want to f**k with the balance between GABA and Glutamate that much, as it could make things a bit s**tty. Though, saying that, many people use sleeping tablets etc just fine, but use some common sense.

Nothing has helped me sleep better than addressing the problem that stopped me sleeping. Stress is a c**t, so f**k it, then you may find yourself sleeping better.

TLDR: Be careful when screwing around with your biochemistry. Try addressing the stress and anxiety in your life(if there is any).

Anyone else taken ZMA after a night of drinking and experienced the insta-vomit?
