embarrasingly poor bench Member 2684, 4043 posts SQ 240, BP 135, DL 275650.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq | I'm assuming that it will be the usual with the events where there are two weights that one rep with the heavier weight beats as many reps of the lower weight?

crushed the generals chance of 6th place Member 588, 5477 posts SQ 200, BP 100, DL 200500.0 kgs @ 84kgs UnEq | How can you cap competitors on a qualifier, that could mean the top dog in Britain doesn't get to compete because he's not in the fastest 14 in his class to send of a form?

In total agreement. Capping numbers on a qualifier is a nonsense. If there is too much interest then hold more qualifiers, or find a biggr venue. Speed at sending an email in no way displays strength, so it makes a mockery of the whole comp imo

Are you suggesting the discussion is bulls**t or the scenario? I dont see how anyone can lay claim to a national title when the qualifiers were capped and the best guys could miss out. Would make winning it a bit hollow imo
