yesterday, SUGDEN CENTRE

Joined sugden proper now, since i will be going there way too often for a while anyway.

Spontaneous SB forum gathering, with MrSmall, Alex and Fat Baz present - with honorary member Anthony The Machine.

Tried one legged squats, but no way, couldnt hold the balance and just dropped down to rock bottom with no chance of getting up. Might have talked too soon about starting to do them Grin

Then few sets of 3 reps with not going so deep, and with some support. need to be able to move my left arm forwards to balance before any chance of doing these.

One arm deadlifts
5x60
5x80
2x90

these are f**king tricky.

Hammer strength leg press showdown with Anthony The Machine
10x150
10x200
10x220

this is a keeper.

Exercise bike 15 mins but higher pace.

Overdid it a bit, left pec achy from tensing it. Its funny how i get doms from the injured arm from just the rehab work which includes such feats of strength as lifting the arm up Grin

Good to see you still going at the rehab enthusiastically mate. Do 1 arm DLs not cause you to "tense" the whole upper body? Would Dbell DLs with working arm not be better?

yeah they do cause a bit too much tension at this stage, but i can increase it week buy week so it shouldnt be too much of a problem in longer run.

Dbs dont really work because you cant get f**k all on them? And also, the barbell is very good grip training, and judging from last night, my grip is s**t!

Talk about them some more, and you will find the more you talk about them, the easier it gets to talk about them. Don't you find talking about hill sprints really easy now, whereas at the start it was a bit tougher?

Yesterday, Adlington Press competition

Good to see the crew again, some mighty lifting was done. Was reduced to scorekeeping myself, but it was fun to take part anyway.

before that though did wee bit of training:

one arm deadlift (used hook grip this time)
5x60
3x60
3x80
3x90
3x90

Shoulder db press
15x13
15x18
15x22
15x25kg

Today, SUGDEN CENTRE

Featuring Big T, Bodybuilding Mike and Anthony The Machine. Good session, first session so far during my recovery that i felt wee bit motivated.

Exercise bike 5 mins.

The Plan is to drop the weight and build to a new 5 max in couple weeks.

leg curls
10 x some weight
10 x wee bit more
10 x more still
10 x stack

leg extension machine

25x120
