Good plan, although with a 130 overhead you should be thinking 60kg at least on the one arms Wink

Recovery is looking good mate. Although I'm not sure you are mentally prepared for how boring walking 10k is going to be on a treadmill. Be sure to bring multiple copies of Heat magazine. Happy

Thanks guys, much preciated!

Boar, ownage expected and assumed. bring it on! I'll keep you posted on the progress and when i am ready, to either run, or bail out humiliated.

JC, yeah coul be that i will nail some light pressing before xmas Grin

Today paid a visit to the new independent gym in manchester Primal Fitness: http://www.primalfitness.co.uk/

Good looking project, mainly around the cross fit stuff so the gym has monkey ladders, gymnasts rings, climbing rope, small tyres, kegs, kettlebells and also 4 squat cages, 6 barbells, bumper plates etc. Hope these guys will do well with it, might be going there myself once a week for conditioning work when my injury is a thing of the past.

Did some kettlebell clean & press and snatches, one arm deads.

More work tomorrow.

GPP classes seem pretty cool. There's nothing like having somebody shouting at you to make you do that kind of stuff (unless you're boar).

Thats it man! Am seriously thinking i will get their membership which gives you one or two days/week and nail some classes. Unless i can get some other mofos to come there and we can get some kind of fun competitive conditioning going, if i was to do it on my own i would just give up way too early Grin

SUGDEN CENTRE

exercise bike 5 mins

db press (right only)
10x10
10x17.5
10x20
10x22.5
10x27.5
10x30

One arm deads
5x60
3x80

bailed out due to lack of chalk.

Leg press
10x150
8x190
8x210

treadmill - 15 min run - this marks the start of my (possibly short) attempt to try out a wee bit of running. 15 mins might be laughable but it represents easily the longest time i have ran in several years  My earlier talk about nailing 10k one day might be in the "hill sprints" category, running is not easy.

One set of CURLS!

Bodyweight 107.3kg - seems like the weight loss has stopped, though i am still eating way less than before.

lesson of today: i dont like training on my own.

thanks mofos, will keep at it!

yesterdays session was a bit of a write off so decided to hit the gym again today.

SUGDEN CENTRE

exercise bike 5 mins

one arm deads
5x60
2x80
1x100
1x120
fx140 - tore a callous, the badboys havent seen any notable action for a while and have gone all soft.

hammer strength shoulder press
3x15x25kg plate

run
25min - 3.5k - proper f**ked

I think i remembered a trick wich helps in running: you just have to keep on going. Wanted to give up half way through but once that was gone the feeling was great. Memories of days of way back running came back a bit Grin

back extensions with Anthony The Machine (who recently benched 170 - beast!)
30x120
20x152.5

The Plan for the rest of the week:
wed - leg press showdown with Ant, light cardio
thu - dumbell work, run
sat - dungeon, hip belt squats, rolling thunder

Good stuff Joni, 140kg 1 arm would be good!

Running is grim, will be great for your strongman in the long run though!

Maybe you could try some sled drags on Saturday with the weight attached to your belt?
