Wednesday session

Deadlifts
5x60kg
3x100kg
1x140kg
1x180kg
1x220kg
1x250kg PB

Presses

5x40kg
3x40kg
1x60kg
1x90kg
112.5kgxF

Chins
BW+12

250kg dead in the bank. It felt heavy, very heavy. 600lbs now seems like a million miles away. The lift was smooth but very slow and resulted in me turning a purple colour. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so the epic battle of man against iron was not captured on video.

I think the amount of effort in the dead was reflected in my push press. 90kg felt heavy and in reality 112.5 was never going to go, strange seen as though 110 flew up last week.

Congrats mate! Nice landmark.
AvatarBoar
well done tony, great lift - the heavy feeling you speak of is justified as its a MOHASSIVE weight !!!

mabie some solid training for a good few weeks befor contemplating more, 6 plates must be in sight.
AvatarTony
Definately returning to triples next time. MY face turning that purple can't be good for me.
AvatarTony
Adlington second week in February if thats ok with you mate?
AvatarBoar
thats the 14th tony (a romantic loved up day for some) or do you mean the 7th ??

either i no bother for me , we can sort out the details.

whats next, you gonna pull away further via squattage and benchings ??
AvatarTony
I think I mean the 14th then again it might be the 7th I'll have to check.

No more maxing out for a while so my current bench and squat Pbs are safe for a while. I'm not that far ahead of you mate. I'm hanging on to the fact that I might be able to out deadlift you but I think I'm on borrowed time squat and bench wise.

Does it make me a bad man to keep wishing for heavy wind in Leyland maybe coinciding with you riding you motorbike?

finished reading the books, I especialy like Texas Powerlifting.

Dinosaur training also a realy good read.
Avatarpurplepaul
well done on the 250kGrin
AvatarJoni
you seem to like big jumps in your lifts, straight from 180 to 220 to 250.

But hey, well done for reaching such an important milestone!
AvatarCuddles
Great deadlifting matey. 250kg is a serious pull.
Avatarlittlegirlbunny
Nice work on the 250 kg Grin

cheers for the kind comments folks. Got some bad news this week. Was informed by Boar that there is no BPC northern event so its up in the air if I will break my powerlifting virginity. Currently trying to decide what to do competition wise as I had my heart set on competing.
