Train from Piccadilly stops at Guide Bridge which is a similarcwalk from the Ashton station . Do a google walking map and follow it like a tourist .

Paul you lazy c**t we have made the trip together on the train.

What we did was Manchester Victoria to Ashton station and a short walk.

Marko has a solution also!
