Cheers for the comments lads - My head was down a little last night, but I'm a little more upbeat now. Just spent a few hours watching UFC with my old man and having a chat - feeling much better for it.

Anyway I dragged myself into OSG today after taking Mini Mac swimming and then onto Grandma's

I had a serious lack of mojo today and spent 30 mins doing some powercleans trying to summon up the will to deadlift. Luckily Trav came to my rescue and jumped in on Deadlift's

Log is feeling better and better, starting to get more and more out of my leg drive and I had master coach Kev on hand to nag at me Grin

Strict Press

These all felt really heavy, tired from all the log pressing.

Finished off with a couple of sets of side raises and rear flyes.

Not a bad session, but I've got Trav and Kev to thank for that - Cheers lads.

After doing a little research things do look a little more positive - It's the most common caner in men but I'm not sure if it has the highest survival rate (I think that is testicular cancer).

The survival rates are as follows (ish)

1 year - 90%
5 years - 70%
10 years - 60%

These figures are for all cases though, so I'm hoping the fact that my Dad has no other symptoms, is relatively young and looks to have caught it early means that those percentages are going to be pushed even higher for him.

Won't know too much more until the results of his biopsy.

Very tired + too much stuff on my mind + solo training = s**te session

Bad sign when this weight is feeling heavy for me - no pain though

Solid reps but felt a niggle again in my groin on the 2nd rep

Got down and felt more pain so aborted the lift
