Anyway, on to training - Latish session, started at 20:30 Back Deadlifts Warm up 180kg x 4 180kg x 4 (Straps on - my hands are healing but after the 1st set of 180's they were stinging to the point of distraction) 180kg x 4 215kg x 2 (should have been 205kg but I apparently can't tell the difference between a 10 and a 15) 215kg x 2 180kg x 10 Weighted Chins 10kg x 10 10kg x 7 + 3 Bench Rows 75kg x 8 75kg x 8 1 Arm Rows 50kg x 8 50kg x 7 Shrugs - Double Overhand 140kg x 5 140kg x 5 140kg x 5 140kg x 5 Not a bad session, I didn't even notice the misload on the deadlifts until I was stripping the bar Looking forward to a solid pressing session at OSG tomorrow, followed my some Moto GP! Log Warm up 92kg x 5 92kg x 5 92kg x 5 92kg x 5 92kg x 6 or 7 (Tony pointed his camera at me for this set and I ego lifted 92kg x 5 Bit of a breather here whilst I had some top Olympic coaching from Kev for my Power Cleans 92kg x 5 Log is feeling better and better now - especially after Joni pointed out that I was not using my shoulders / arms at all for the 1st part of the lift (basically I've been kicking it up with my legs / hips and catching and then pressing). Getting everything firing together has made a big difference. Cheers Joni! Conan's As Pagan and the lads had this set up I had a go Warm Up with increasing weights - a few turns 200kg ish???? x 1 turn 200kg ish???? x 1 turn Definitely need to practices this, it's very hard to breathe and I can see how people can pass out easily. Strict Press 80kg x 5 80kg x 4 80kg x 3 75kg x 4 75kg x 4 Followed this with a couple of sets of side raises and rear flyes Good way to finish the week! Macca | ||
